Rate: £550-£650 per day
IR35: Inside IR35
Location: North Acton, London
Hybrid: Minimum 3 days office / 2 days WFH

Duration: Initially to March 2027, with a strong likelihood of extension

We are recruiting an HVAC Design Manager to join a major HS2 infrastructure project, based at North Acton.

This is an excellent long-term contract opportunity for a proactive MEP professional who can take ownership of HVAC design packages and drive them through design review, approval, certification and final sign-off.

You will work closely with the MEP Package Manager to:

The Role

• Manage HVAC / MEP design packages through to completion
• Lead design reviews, approvals and certification
• Manage technical issues with internal teams and external suppliers
• Ensure design compliance and delivery against project requirements
• Manage HVAC suppliers supporting the fit-out of shafts and headhouses
• Coordinate MEP deliverables and key stakeholders across the project

What We’re Looking For

• Strong MEP / HVAC design experience
• Experience on major infrastructure or similar complex projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of design delivery
• CSCS White or Black Card, or ability to obtain one; MAP booking confirmation will be required if not currently held
