Gas/Mechanical Engineer

Salary - £45,000 (Neg D.O.E)

We re recruiting for an exciting opportunity with our client for a Gas/Mechanical Engineer to join their Kent-based team. If you have experience in both commercial and domestic heating systems and are looking for a role that offers career progression and a comprehensive benefits package, this could be the job for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on commercial gas systems and appliances.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently to minimize disruptions at client sites.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on all projects.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, including safety certificates and service reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service, building strong client relationships.

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid commercial gas qualifications (COCN1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1, etc.).
  • Experience in a similar role within Facilities Management (FM), servicing a variety of commercial sites.
  • Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, and commercial gas systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
