Joinery Projects Manager  Brief Outline  Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Joinery Project Manager to join their expanding team and take ownership of allocated projects throughout preconstruction, construction and post-construction. The ideal candidate will have a background in joinery / carpentry and possess a good understanding of the industry About our Client Our client is an established high-end carpentry, joinery and fit out contractor.  They work on a diverse range of multi million pound commercial and mix used projects. They have an excellent reputation for the quality of their projects and work with a number of prestigious clients. Their turnover has increased year-on-year and have a large pipeline of work for next year already.  About the Role  Manage projects of varying sizes; this may be one project or several smaller projects simultaneously Run projects from design, procurement and through all stages of construction Preparing, agreeing and working to programme Implementation of programme and ensuring design, material and labour are fully resourced Undertaking preconstruction surveys Producing and managing detailed design information to enable manufacture Assisting with project budget development for the cost plan, and monitoring this as the project moves through its stages Managing project delivery teams Manage and maintain client relationships  Delivering works to an exceptional standard and level of quality Delivering continual improvement in H&S  About the Candidate  Must have joinery / carpentry experience Must have an in depth knowledge of the joinery / fit-out industry and a good understanding of ironmongery and finishes Experience of the construction management processes, means and methods Have the ability to create project plans and budgets and to deliver results within their parameters Highly-skilled at leading and developing a team A strong team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexible working attitude with a positive and engaging approach Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Computer literate QST/HR/039 Knowledge of CAD – ideal but not essential Qualifications A levels / Higher education – preferred SSSTS / SMSTS – H&S training – preferred CSCS card Points of Appeal  Competitive salary (depending on experience) Discretionary performance related bonus Life insurance Health insurance Company pension All tools, uniform, PPE and training will be provided as required Opportunity to progress within the company
