Secondary Teaching Assistant – What the Role Involves
- Providing classroom support across KS3 and KS4 subjects
- Delivering small-group or 1:1 intervention sessions in core areas such as English, Maths and Science
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, differentiation and behaviour management
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum

Secondary Teaching Assistant – What the School is Looking For
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, reliable and motivated graduate looking to gain meaningful experience in education. A 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university is preferred, and any prior experience working with young people will be an advantage. You should have strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a genuine desire to help students reach their full potential.

Secondary Teaching Assistant – Salary and Contract Info
- £444+ per week, pro rata to term time only
- Full-time, long-term contract (November–July)
- Term-time only
