54000 - 56000 per annumManchester, EnglandPermanentOur client, a leading organisation in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior H&S Advisor to join their SHEQ team. This is a permanent role based within the UU region, providing a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact on health and safety practices within the company.Key Responsibilities:Advising the SHEQ team at a Senior levelUnderstanding and managing SHEQ riskSupporting SHEQ across the company with a dynamic approachDeveloping and implementing policies, procedures, management systems, and risk controlsOrganising and supporting SHEQ assurance auditsConducting and supporting accident/incident investigationsCollaborating with project teams to understand day-to-day challengesWorking with clients to deliver collaborative SHEQ approachesManaging the project lifecycle from a SHEQ perspectiveHighlighting opportunities for sustainable solutionsAnalysing key performance data and maintaining management systemsAbout You:Extensive experience in the Construction sectorKnowledge of statutory health and safety law in the UKExperience with OHSAS 45001 (or similar) management systemsNEBOSH diploma or equivalentExperience in the water sector would be preferredValid full driving licence and ability to travel as requiredAbility to collect, analyse, and evaluate large volumes of dataCSCS card holderCertified or Chartered membership of IOSHBenefits:Hybrid working (job needs dependent)Car/car allowance (job needs dependent)25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (with an additional 5 days available to buy)Contributory pension schemeLife assurance and health insurancePrivate medical insuranceIf you are an experienced Senior H&S Advisor looking to further your career within a supportive and innovative environment, we would love to hear from you.
