Senior Scientific Engagement & Program Manager (Contract - 6 Months, Remote) - London - Pay rate £550/day PAYE

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Scientific Engagement & Program Manager to lead and execute scientific engagements, including congresses, advisory boards, symposia, and medical education events. Working closely with internal teams, this role ensures alignment with strategic objectives, stakeholder engagement, and high-quality execution of medical communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of scientific engagements across assigned projects/programs.
• Act as the main point of contact for assigned therapy areas, brands, and publication plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure strategic and compliant execution.
• Manage external vendors and oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Track key performance metrics, ensuring high-quality execution and documentation.
• Drive innovation in digital solutions and virtual medical communication strategies.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and best practice sharing within the team.

Ideal Background:

• Education: Degree in science; further education desirable.
• Experience: 2-5 years in Medical Communications (agency or pharma).

Skills:

• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in scientific engagements and medical communications.
• Knowledge of digital solutions and innovation in healthcare.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.
• Experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff.
