Job Title: Electronics Collection & Disposal Driver Location: Reading Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00 (with a 1-hour lunch break) About Our Client: Join a forward-thinking company at the forefront of electronic waste management. Our client is a rapidly growing business dedicated to collecting, processing, and securely disposing of all types of electronics—from everyday items like hairdryers to large-scale server rooms. The Role: As an Electronics Collection & Disposal Driver, you will be a vital part of the operations team, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of electronic equipment. Your day-to-day duties will include: * Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting routine vehicle checks, including oil, coolant, and AdBlue levels, and refilling as necessary. You’ll be responsible for reporting any vehicle damage or faults immediately to ensure safe operation. * Vehicle Care: Taking ownership of your allocated vehicle, keeping it clean, well-maintained, and stocked with the necessary supplies. * Driving Duties: Safely driving to and from customer and supplier sites, adhering to all UK driving regulations. * Loading and Securing: Safely loading your vehicle with electronic equipment, securing the load with provided ratchet straps, and ensuring all items are ready for transit. * Documentation: Using the company-provided mobile phone, you’ll ensure that all collections and deliveries are signed for by the site contact, maintaining accurate records of your work. Full training will be provided. Pay: £12.83 per hour (including holiday pay) with minimum 8 hours pay per day.
