Corporate Lawyer – 6-12 Month Contract (Maternity Cover) | Immediate Start
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Lawyer (3+ PQE) to join a highly regarded international law firm on a 6-12 month maternity cover contract, with an immediate start. This role is ideal for a commercially minded lawyer with strong M&A, venture capital, and corporate advisory experience who is looking to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in advising founders, investors, and corporates on a variety of corporate matters, including M&A transactions, venture capital investments, and corporate governance. Responsibilities will involve drafting and negotiating key transaction documents such as share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and investment agreements, as well as leading deals and providing general corporate advisory support.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience, strong drafting skills, and a keen commercial mindset. A proactive and collaborative approach is essential, as the role will involve working on cross-border transactions and coordinating with colleagues across international offices.
