Contracts Manager: Clearfield have once again partnered with an employee owned family business who, due to continued growth, are looking for a dedicated Contracts Manager to join the team and play a key role in delivering high-quality projects. This is a permanent position and recruited on an introduction basis only. You will oversee and manage all aspects of contract administration, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in line with budget expectations. You'll collaborate closely with clients, architects and subcontractors- assisting dreams become reality. The ideal candidate will take responsibility for contract negotiations, scheduling, compliance, and quality control. This role requires someone with a proven track record in managing high-value residential construction projects and a hands-on approach to leadership. Key Responsibilities of this position will include. • Manage multiple design and build contracts with values up to £1 million, primarily within the residential sector for private clients. • Ensure projects meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality objectives, addressing any issues that arise. • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth workflow and project progression. • Oversee health, safety, and regulatory compliance across all projects. • Manage and mitigate risk, resolving contractual issues and claims proactively. Previous Background: Our client is very open to previous backgrounds in Construction or Construction related. Its all about the person. Previous work history in Site Management, Trade, Architecture, Technical, Surveying- all considered! You must be keen, have a valid UK Driving licence, and good people skills.
