Working Foreman (Joiner)

Location: Edinburgh City Centre We are currently seeking an experienced Working Site Supervisor to join a prestigious construction project in Edinburgh City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Supervisor who enjoys leading from the front — managing a team of Joiners while also getting involved on the tools when required. The Role You will be responsible for overseeing a team of Joiners on site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is a working supervisory position, so you'll be expected to manage and coordinate the team while also assisting with joinery duties as required. Key responsibilities include: * Supervising and coordinating a team of Joiners * Working alongside the team and assisting with joinery duties * Ensuring work is completed to the required quality and programme * Coordinating daily activities and allocating tasks * Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site * Liaising with Site Management and other trades * Monitoring progress and reporting any issues * Leading by example and maintaining a positive site environment Requirements * SSSTS minimum qualification * Valid CSCS card * Proven experience supervising Joiners on construction projects * Strong joinery background with the ability to work on the tools * Good understanding of site health & safety requirements * Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on * Reliable, organised and professional approach What’s on Offer * Work on a prestigious Edinburgh City Centre project * Long-term opportunity for the right candidate * Competitive rate of pay * Hands-on supervisory role with an established team * Opportunity to work on a high-profile construction project
