About this role

We are looking for an outstanding and extremely organised Format Coordinator to join Banijay Group - Creative Networks division, which strategically supports the development, production and longevity of world class travelling formats across Banijay.

We’re looking for someone who is keen, enthusiastic, willing to learn and happy to be hands on. The role will engage widely across the full Banijay network, HQ colleagues in Paris, Amsterdam and London, Operating Companies and a range of colleagues and stakeholders globally across the business as well as external clients.


  • Assist in the flow of Banijay intellectual property within our group of companies by supporting them in securing new commissions for our formats.
  • Establish and maintain close relationships with key contacts in the Banijay operating companies.
  • Collect production info & key assets.
  • Assist in the creation of sales and production supporting materials (e.g. decks, production bibles).
  • Provide our production companies with information & materials on our formats to support their local pitches (e.g. decks, promos).
  • Provide production houses and 3rd parties with key assets to create the shows (e.g. production bibles, graphics).
  • Central point of contact for connecting and coordinating with all internal departments and procedures that apply to the formats, including but not limited to Comms, Legal and Finance.
  • Assist in organizing big meetings, exchanges & gatherings to internally promote the formats.
  • Admin work such as tracking invoices for budget reasons and - upon request of our Travel Agency - assist with visa applications.
  • Clip editing.

Knowledge and Skills

  • MBO/HBO.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience within an international environment.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of global media landscape.
  • Should be able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of TV production process desirable.
  • Preferably basic knowledge of linear/non-linear TV.
  • Hands-on and adoptable.
  • PowerPoint skills/Office 365.

Reporting to

Group Chief Content Officer, Operation.

Contract Type

Fixed-term (12-months contract).


Monday-Friday – 9:30am - 6pm.
