Vector is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our client, a well-established drainage contractor renowned for delivering exceptional services to both domestic and commercial clients. We are on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced individual to lead and manage our clients Drainage team. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Plan, organise, and oversee both planned and reactive drainage crews to ensure high efficiency and safety. Resource Management: Ensure teams are fully equipped with necessary tools and information. Operational Oversight: Manage internal and external blockage clearances, patching and lining works, CCTV surveys, and tankering services. Cost Estimation and Planning: Provide accurate cost estimates and interpret technical plans. Administrative Duties: Handle paperwork related to job planning, equipment management, and team coordination. Emergency Management: Respond swiftly to urgent issues such as vehicle breakdowns or emergency drainage problems. Team Development: Conduct team meetings and one-to-one sessions to foster team growth and efficiency. Essential Requirements: Experience: Demonstrable experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the drainage industry. Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire your team. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Technical Proficiency: Strong IT skills, including the use of relevant software and tools for operational management. Health and Safety: Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety procedures. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, make informed decisions, and solve problems effectively. Licence: Full UK Driving Licence.
