Job Description

This Wakefield practice is the perfect fit if you are seeking a technically focused Senior Mechanical Engineer role with a building services design consultancy. They deliver pharmaceutical and health care schemes in the main and save you the hassle of traveling into Leeds.

Their location offers easy access to the M1, on-site parking and a gym, supermarket plus relaxing parkland close enough for your lunchtime amble.

The role will see you working alongside the Mechanical Director supporting them with schemes up to c. 15m value with two large pharmaceutical companies, local NHS Trusts and a private healthcare provider amongst others.

You'll also be supporting a mechanical design apprentice, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them create the foundations they will build their own career on.

As a technical practice, they often work to first principles rather than rely on Hevacomp or IES for base calculations. These are carried out by an external consultant to save you the data entry and give you more time for engineering.

Alongside the negotiable salary, their package includes up to 25 days plus the Christmas break, up to 5% company pension contribution and a car allowance.

Calibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their sex, race, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age. We act as both an employment agency and employment business.
