Bring your energy to Aggreko as an Electrical Engineer based in Dumbarton. You’ll support the design, development and continuous improvement of electrical systems across Aggreko’s manufactured product range, ensuring solutions are efficient, reliable and meet the evolving needs of our global customers.Power without pause. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.What you’ll do as Electrical Systems Engineer:Design, develop, integrate and support validation and commissioning of electrical systems, including creation of specifications, schematics and test proceduresDevelop and maintain electrical CAD platforms (EPLAN) and ensure high-quality deliverables aligned to time, cost and quality targetsCreate and manage Bills of Materials and part specifications to support efficient manufacturing and assemblyProvide electrical SME support across manufacturing, operations, RCA investigations and supplier engagementDrive continuous improvement across product design, ensuring safety, reliability, efficiency and adaptability to new applications and marketsYou are:An experienced electrical engineering professional with strong systems and equipment design expertiseProficient in electrical CAD tools (EPLAN preferred) and confident working with engineering and PLM/MRP systemsKnowledgeable in electrical controls, panel design, generators, motor control centres and drivesAble to interpret requirements and produce detailed schematics, wiring diagrams and specifications up to 13.8kVA collaborative, adaptable team player with strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindsetHere’s what you’ll get:Opportunity to work on innovative, global energy solutions with real-world impactCareer development within a leading international business, including exposure to new technologies and marketsCompetitive salary and benefits package, including annual leave, bonus and pensionA collaborative, safety-first culture that values continuous improvement and engineering excellenceOur people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
