SEN Teacher – Primary Autism Provision (Lambeth)
Full-time | Long-term | Immediate Star
Location: Lambeth, South London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start Date: Immediate or after half term

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a thriving Primary School Autism Provision in Lambeth , supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated communication and social needs.

The Role
As the SEN Teacher, you will:
- Lead a small class of pupils with ASD (EYFS or KS1/KS2 depending on experience)
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning profiles
- Foster communication, independence, and emotional regulation
- Work closely with a team of experienced Teaching Assistants, therapists, and SENCO
- Track progress using individual education plans (IEPs) and EHCP targets
- Promote a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching children with Autism and/or additional needs (school or specialist setting)
- Strong understanding of autism strategies (TEACCH, PECS, Makaton, sensory integration etc.)
- Patient, reflective, and passionate about inclusive education
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
