Product Manager

Salary - £60,000 - £80,000

Remote first with monthly meetups in London


This business works with rapidly growing direct-to-consumer brands, solving complex problems that fuel growth. They are searching for an experienced Product Manager to develop their proprietary BI/ Data platform that will help their business solve client challenges.


Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Strategy and Vision - You will need to define the purpose of the platform and ensure it serves the company’s long-term strategic objectives. You will be responsible for mapping out how the platform fits into the broader business, particularly focusing on solving core business challenges (e.g., unit economics, pricing, offers).
  • Business Problem Solving -: Your role will be to translate business challenges into actionable insights and platform solutions. For instance, addressing issues in pricing or improving the efficiency of offers.
  • Product Development and Roadmap - You will be accountable for defining the roadmap, prioritising features, and working with both business and technology teams to develop the platform. This means collaborating with engineering, design, and data teams to ensure the product is built to solve both short-term and long-term business needs. You will need to work closely with the technology teams to ensure the product's technical capabilities align with business requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management - You will act as the key liaison between business leaders and the product team. Gathering input from stakeholders, understanding their pain points, and ensuring the platform meets business needs.
  • Continuous Improvement - You will monitor market trends and competitor solutions to ensure the platform remains ahead of the curve in solving business challenges. You will gather user feedback and make iterative improvements to the platform to meet evolving business needs.
  • Problem Solving and Innovation - You will be expected to identify creative solutions to complex business problems, such as scaling profitability or addressing pricing challenges. You will work on developing and evolving the internal tools that support long-term scalability for the business, collaborating closely with technology teams to ensure



Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Start-up experience ideally from a seed-stage company.
  • Experience working on a Data or Business intelligence product would be highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a diverse Product role, owning the whole product.
  • Excellent communicator and problem solver.
  • Experienced at managing offshore tech teams.
