An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading Facilities Management provider, working at a distribution centre in Greenford.
Our client is looking for a fully qualified electrician to join their on-site engineering team, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems, building services and general facilities. While an electrical background is essential, the successful candidate will receive ongoing training to develop their multi-skilled maintenance capabilities.
Working as part of a supportive team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and in line with contractual KPIs.

Duties

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs across site services.
• Undertake basic mechanical and general building maintenance tasks where required.
• Carry out routine inspections of plant, equipment and building fabric.
• Identify remedial works and report non-repairable faults.
• Update CAFM systems and complete maintenance records accurately.
• Work alongside subcontractors, ensuring Health & Safety procedures and site standards are met.
• Support minor installation works and site improvement projects.
• Provide support across other sites when required.
• Participate in a 1 in 3 on-call rota.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience within Facilities Management, commercial maintenance or building services.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach with the willingness to develop additional multi-skilled maintenance skills through training.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary & Benefits

• 39,600 basic salary
• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (rotating shifts between 6am and 6pm)
• 1 in 3 on-call rota
• Minimum 4 hours paid for every call-out attended
• 200 payment for additional on-call cover
• 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
• Annual salary reviews
