CONTENT ID EXECUTIVE

The Business

UpStream Media, a digital studio based in West London, is recruiting for a Content ID Executive. UpStream Media is part of the Tinopolis Group, one of the UK’s largest independent television suppliers. UpStream Media owns a growing portfolio of YouTube and FAST channels, offering its client’s content management, security and monetization.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of UpStream Media, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Ongoing management and creation of Usage and Match policies within company CMS.
• Ensuring Content is protected accordingly, and value is maximised.
• Establishing a process with Group production companies to ensure Reference Files are uploaded on a timely basis.
• Audit of international formats to ensure all content is captured in content ID system.
• Regularly report on Claimed Assets and analytics from 3rd party claimed content.
• Working with Channel Managers to define key search terms and regularly update keywords.
• Working closely with In-house legal teams to ensure Content ID policies are updated in line with licensed sales windows.
• Processing acquisitions contracts and capturing details in rights management system
• Assist Channel Managers with asserting copyright disputes.
• Staying up to date with trending topics and YouTube algorithms.

The Candidate

• Strong attention to detail
• Passionate about YouTube
• YouTube Certified
• Understanding of media rights and terminology
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
• Self-motivated with ability to manage priorities and deadlines
• Strong communicator with ability to express concepts and ideas
• Strong organisational skills with experience of working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects at the same time
• Pro-active and collaborative
