Graduate Teaching Assistant Location: Southport, PR8 Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term Working Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm Pay: Paid to scale Responsibilities: Behaviour management: Foster a positive learning environment with good behaviour management. Providing emotional support: Offering guidance and support to students who may be dealing with personal issues or stress. Monitoring well-being: Keeping an eye on students' overall well-being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members. Safeguarding: Ensuring the safeguarding procedure is followed when required Collaboration: Work closely with teachers to ensure lessons run smoothly and students thrive academically and socially.Requirements: Previous experience working with children. Right to Work in the UK. Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
