English & Maths Tutor - Liverpool Location: Liverpool Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: September 2026 Duration: Ongoing Prospero Teaching are seeking a versatile English & Maths Tutor to provide 1:1 educational support to a learner in Liverpool. This role would suit a tutor who enjoys working closely with young people and can confidently adapt sessions across both core subjects, helping learners develop their knowledge, confidence and independent learning skills. Key Responsibilities Deliver personalised 1:1 English and Maths tuition Plan sessions around individual learning objectives Support learners to develop core academic skills Adapt resources and activities where required Encourage confidence and positive engagement Monitor and report on progress Requirements Experience teaching or tutoring English and/or Maths Strong subject knowledge Experience supporting children or young people Excellent communication skills Flexible and learner-focused approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one Right to Work in the UK Two professional child-related references Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business and education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy
