Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance engineer required to work with an operations team that produce IQF sausage, burgers and meatballs.

Main job description and duties are as follows:

• Assist in machinery breakdowns and faults
• Perform weekly/monthly PPM's as per schedule
• Look after and improve site maintenance and fabrication
• Keep stock of all engineering consumables and parts
• Assist in continuous improvement projects
• Assist with the general upkeep of all machinery and site
• Assist with ongoing projects
• Salary dependant on experience and skills

Preferred experience:

• FMCG or food manufacturing background (desirable but not essential)
• At least 3 years experience working in a manufacturing engineering position
• Have building/fabrication repair experience is desirable
• Mechanical experience preferred
• PPM experience
• Managed engineering consumable stocks
