We help our people grow, to care deeply about and be proud of what we do.The Role: As a Senior Learning Experience Designer, you will design high-quality learning experiences that translate psychological insight, leadership thinking, and coaching principles into practical, engaging experiences that drive behaviour change at work.This is a senior individual contributor role for an experienced instructional designer who is comfortable working with evidence-based ideas and shaping them into usable learning. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, making and defending design judgments with limited direction, and setting a standard of craft that others in the team can learn from. You will design experiences that scale across clients and contexts, while remaining coherent, relevant, and impactful.You will sit within EZRA Labs, acting as a design thought partner to EZRA Labs leaders and partnering with colleagues across Marketing, Events, and client-facing teams to bring learning experiences to life across workshops, webinars, events, and other facilitated formats. This role focuses on design, not facilitation. It is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, but you will play a visible part in raising the quality bar across the team through mentoring and peer review.What You'll Do: Design Learning ExperienceOwn the end-to-end design of learning experiences across formats including workshops, webinars, and event keynotesTranslate concepts from coaching, behavioural science, and leadership into clear learning objectives, narratives, and activitiesCreate learning experiences that are practical, application-focused, and support behaviour change in real work contextsBalance rigor with accessibility, ensuring learning is grounded in evidence without becoming abstract or academicTake on our most complex or ambiguous design challenges, bringing structure where the brief is still formingApply Instructional Design CraftUse instructional design principles to structure learning journeys, sessions, and experiencesShape narrative flow and participant experience, from framing and context-setting through to application and reflectionDesign learning that is usable, scalable, and effective for delivery by othersContribute to shared design standards, frameworks, and reusable approaches that lift the quality and consistency of our workSupport Craft and Quality Across the TeamAct as a design reviewer for colleagues' work, giving specific, constructive feedback that improves quality before it reaches clientsQuality-assure learning designs against agreed standards for rigour, clarity, usability, and brandMentor less experienced designers, sharing the craft, frameworks, and judgment you've built through your own practiceHelp shape review rituals and ways of working that make good design repeatable across the teamPlease note: this is a non-managerial role. You will develop colleagues through craft, coaching, and peer review rather than line managementCollaborate Across EZRAAct as a thought partner to EZRA Labs leaders, turning points of view, learning blueprints, and ideas into delivered experiencesAdapt and evolve existing learning designs to suit different audiences, client contexts, and use cases while protecting core intentPartner with Marketing and Events teams to support the design of participant journeys for market-facing and client experiencesBring stakeholders with you on design decisions, explaining the rationale and trade-offs behind your choicesWork with AI and Emerging PracticeUse AI tools as part of your design workflow to support ideation, iteration, and developmentContribute to the evolution of AI-enabled learning and coaching experiences, applying judgment about where AI adds valueStay informed about emerging learning practices, tools, and modalities and how they can enhance impactShare what you learn, helping the wider team adopt new tools and practices with confidenceAbout you: 5–7 years' experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a closely related roleStrong instructional design capability, with experience designing learning for leadership development, coaching, or human skillsA deep working knowledge of psychological principles and how these translate into effective learning design and behaviour changeBackground in occupational psychology, behavioural science, or a related field is strongly preferredExperience applying evidence-based approaches to learning and development in organizational contextsAbility to turn complex ideas into clear, usable learning experiencesExperience reviewing others' work and mentoring or coaching less experienced designers, formally or informallySound judgment and comfort with ambiguity, with a track record of making and justifying design decisions with limited directionComfort collaborating with subject matter experts, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional partnersAI literacy, with experience using AI tools as part of your day-to-day workLife at EZRA: Your Own World-class coach to help you grow personally and professionally.Coaching for Friends and family because coaching is a gift worth passing on.Charity Days to support the causes close to your heart - because doing good feels good.Learning Budget to fuel your curiosity.
