Site Manager

Our client is a UK leader in recycling, energy recovery, and the circular economy. As the Site Manager of a busy transfer station, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, compliant, and high-standard operation of the site. Key Responsibilities: ✔ Operate all site activities in line with ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 certifications, BMS & IMS systems. ✔ Collaborate with the General Manager, Divisional Director, and commercial leads to ensure smooth and effective site operations. ✔ Manage the delivery of the operational strategy, maximizing efficiency and maintaining high standards. ✔ Support the General Manager with budget preparation, forecasting, and performance evaluation. ✔ Identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies. ✔ Represent operations within the wider business and ensure alignment with company objectives. Do You Have What It Takes? To be successful in this role, you will need: - Qualifications: WAMITAB COTC, HNC or above in a chemistry-related subject, ADR, IOSH, NEBOSH, DGSA. - Experience in plant and/or process operations supervision/management. - Working knowledge and experience of SAP. - Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify critical KPIs. - IT proficiency across all MS Office packages. - Business/commercial acumen with an understanding of operational impact. - Ability to deliver objectives efficiently and on time.
