Microsoft Business Platforms Manager

Location: Hybrid – 2 days on-site in either Basingstoke or London

Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 (DOE)

Contract: Permanent

This role isn’t about reinventing the wheel – it’s about making the most of the tools already in place. As the Microsoft Business Platforms Manager, you'll focus on optimising, managing, and continuously improving Microsoft business applications, including M365, Dynamics 365 CRM, and Power Platform. You don’t need to be a visionary, but you do need a strong understanding of Microsoft’s ecosystem and the ability to maximise its capabilities. Leading a team of engineers, you’ll ensure seamless integration, security, and efficiency across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a roadmap for the adoption and enhancement of Microsoft business platforms.
• Manage the deployment and administration of core M365 applications, including SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, and Azure services.
• Ensure security compliance through Azure Active Directory (AAD), conditional access, data loss prevention (DLP), and information protection policies.
• Drive cost optimisation and vendor management, working closely with Microsoft and key technology partners.
• Lead and mentor a team of six, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure Microsoft solutions align with business needs and long-term objectives.

What You’ll Need:

• A solid understanding of Microsoft business platforms and how to get the best out of them.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 applications.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM, business process automation, and cloud solutions.
• A track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
• Experience with integration tools such as API Management, Logic Apps, or similar middleware solutions.
