Good Morning!
We are currently recruiting for 2 x Decommissioning Technician for a great project for 24+ months that is ran by a Public Sector Authority in Kent.
Role requires availability to work 4 days per week on site from Monday to Thursday.
About the role:
- Be a Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) on various plant items as required by the Site Licence.
- Carry out operational tasks within scope and competence and to assist with fault investigations.
- Carries out all Ionising Radiation Regulations (IRR) and Radioactive Substances Act (RSA) surveys to approved and established procedures
Essential Experience
Experience of working in an industrial background completing hands-on/manual activities
Experience of working with respiratory equipment
Able to follow instructions
Mechanical/Electrical background
Good to have:
- Nuclear experience
- Appropriate technical qualification e.g. City and Guilds, BTEC, NVQ (NQF Level 2)
