Customer Service Call Handler
Type: Temporary Ongoing (initially around 2 weeks, with potential to extend)
Hours: Monday Friday, 9:15am 5:15pm (Friday work from home)
Salary: £14 per hour Weekly Pay
Location: Wokingham
Our friendly client, a leading provider of UK accounting and tax software, is looking for Customer Service Call Handlers to join their team in Wokingham. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous customer service or telephone-based experience who enjoys speaking with customers and providing helpful, professional support. You may also be asked to help out with some financial tasks from time to time so you would need to be good with numbers and have strong Excel skills.
The Role:
- Answering inbound customer calls and handling general enquiries
- Listening to customers and understanding their queries
- Providing clear and helpful information and support
- Recording customer details and updating systems accurately
- Using Microsoft Excel to input and manage information
- Supporting the Finance Team with basic tasks when required
- Handling numerical information accurately and confidently
- Escalating queries to the relevant team when required
About You:
- Previous customer service or call-handling experience
- Previous experience using Microsoft Excel is essential
- Confident working with numbers and comfortable handling numerical information
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Friendly, approachable, and patient
- Good communication and listening skills
- Comfortable using computer systems and handling customer information
- Able to start ASAP
This is an ongoing temporary opportunity, initially expected to last around 2 weeks, with the potential for the assignment to be extended depending on business requirements.
