Behaviour Support Assistant Bournemouth Full time Temporary and permanent roles available Start date - ASAP The School and Role An Alternative Provision school based in Bournemouth are currently seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to start as soon as possible. The school caters for primary and secondary age pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as challenging behaviour.   As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. You will work closely with teachers and a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing environment where each student can thrive. Your role will include implementing individualised support plans, managing challenging behaviours, and encouraging positive interactions among students. The Behaviour Support role is an amazing opportunity for somebody who wants to make a difference to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and support young people to access education. You will offer guidance and support both in the classroom, and also with their social and emotional development. Requirements  The desired Support Assistant will have; - Experience of working with primary and/or secondary school aged children - Experience of working with pupils with SEND/SEMH and challenging behaviour. - A passion for the progress of pupils - An ability to work as part of a team What we offer As part of our team, you benefit from: · Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
