We are currently recruiting for a unique leadership role at a modern distribution company.

This company distributes high quality, handmade furniture products and they are looking for an additional Warehouse Team Leader to focus on customer returns and product recovery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that returned stock is processed and reported.
• Responsible for recovering products to keep profits high and avoid environmental impact of disposal
• Identifying manufacturing faults and liaising with suppliers
• Identifying 3PL damages and agreeing claims
• Organising loan products for customers
• Maintaining Photoshoot/Sample stock - dispatching, put-away and disposal.

Leadership duties:

• Direct leadership of 5+ Warehouse Operatives
• Completing inductions and training new starters
• Organising team holiday and arranging agency cover

What do you need to be considered?

• Previous warehouse returns/recovery experience
• Experience working with Furniture and/or Homeware would be extremely advantageous.
• Knowledge of Quality Control procedures
• Happy with manual handling of furniture products (including Sofas and beds)
• Experience with Microsoft excel and WMS/Stock Tracking software.
• Leadership experience Managing and motivating teams
