Junior/Mid-Weight Designer

Modus Careers is partnering with a leading firm to recruit a Junior/Mid-Weight Designer to join their growing London team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative workplace and lab projects, collaborating with high-profile clients and delivering creative, functional spaces from concept to completion.

As a Junior/Mid-Weight Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in the delivery of projects, managing design packages, creating client presentations, and coordinating with project managers and architects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Producing space plans, technical drawings, and specification packs.
• Creating client presentations, visuals, and mood boards.
• Managing the design process from concept through to installation.
• Attending site surveys and supporting project delivery on-site.
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Sourcing furniture, materials, and finishes aligned with client briefs.
• Working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creative and technical responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For

• 2-4 years' experience in workplace and/or lab design.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Confident communicator with client-facing experience.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong eye for detail and passion for design innovation.
• Knowledge of BIM systems would be highly beneficial.
• Collaborative, proactive mindset with a solution-focused approach.
