Harper James is a national commercial law firm designed to support entrepreneurial businesses from start-up to exit. We aspire to disrupt the model for which legal services are provided to businesses. The firm’s innovative approach to delivering highly tailored and accessible legal advice is considered genuinely different to the establishment. Harper James was founded in 2014 and continues to grow at c40%+ year on year. This financial year, more than 120 people will support more than 2,500 businesses and our turnover will exceed £13m. We expect to double in size over the next 3 years. What we offer * Basic salary £25,000 * Uncapped commission. * Training from an experienced sales team and on the job support * Company healthcare scheme * Excellent growth opportunities * Fantastic opportunity to learn and progress within a growing business that has achieved 40%+ year- on-year growth * Monthly team events * Working with some of the newest technology platforms to support you throughout your sales process * Reporting directly to the Head of Sales with ongoing support and training * Based at our new office in a central location. What you'll do * Be the first point of contact for all new potential business * Effectively qualify/disqualify potential clients using effective sales screening * Support the senior team with client facing activities throughout a sales process * Develop an extensive knowledge base across a number of specialist legal areas * Develop an understanding and deliver effective sales techniques for a variety of client types * Collaborate with senior members of the sales team to learn and develop your skills * Develop a variety of CRM management skills to maintain consistent CRM hygiene * Through outbound business develop activity identify and generate new opportunities to build a pipeline of targeted prospects. * Manage a sales pipeline and sales process from first contact to client won * Consistently exceed your monthly revenue and client-based targets * Work with and develop relationships with senior solicitors throughout the firm for your specific practice areas * Collaborate with a dynamic sales team * Accurately report to your manager on your activity and pipeline. Excellent written and oral communication Target driven, focused with a positive and resilient mindset. Able to perform in a high-pressure, high-volume sales environment. A team player who can also work independently. Self-motivated with the ability to also motivate others. A confident and authoritative attitude as you will be having discussions with senior level decision makers about how Harper James can support their business. Able to effectively manage a pipeline using a CRM. Desire to contribute and be part of a fast-growing innovative business
