Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Service Advisor at their franchise-approved dealership in Witney, Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced and aspiring Service Advisors to join a reputable, family-run business with over 40 years of success.

• Basic salary up to 32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
• On-target earnings around 35,000 per annum including performance-related bonuses
• 22 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays

Duties of the Service Advisor:

• Greet customers in the Service Department and manage customer expectations
• Liaise extensively with the workshop team to monitor work in progress
• Keep customers informed on the progress of their vehicle repairs and servicing
• Allocate workloads to Vehicle Technicians to ensure deadlines are met
• Upsell additional products and services where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction
• Ensure a smooth customer journey from arrival to departure
• Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor is beneficial but not essential
• Strong customer service skills with an ability to communicate effectively
• Well-organised with excellent time management skills
• IT literate; familiarity with systems such as Keyloop or Autoline is highly desirable
• A full UK driving licence with minimal points
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• A proactive approach to upselling and maximising workshop revenue
