We are actively seeking experienced Adults Learning Disability Support Workers to work within a service in …….. The service provides supported living services to adults aged 18 and upwards with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities or sensory impairments. You will be assisting residents through a care pathway to help them live as independently as possible. Overview: Title: Adults Learning Disability Support Worker Location: Job Type: Flexible agency work and block bookings and potential permanent contracts available. You will be helping with their Progression through a care pathway to live as independently as possible. You will have the support of a team of multi-professionals. The candidate: What you'll need to be successful as a Adults Learning Disability Support Worker A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with Learning disabilities Empathetic, caring and resilient nature At least 6 months experience of working within a social care setting UK Driving License PBM/TMVA certificate - If you do not have the required training it is mandatory that you attendour specialist 3-day TMVA training course. This course usually costs £150or more. We are able to offer this to you at a highly discounted price of£85! (We pay the remainder).
