Your new company You will be joining a residential supported living care service that supports young individuals aged from 15-21. Your new company will be under Ofsted regulation where you are providing emotional and physical support across the 5 Bed service. Your new company is recognised as one of the leading providers of care within the young person's market in the local area, receiving numerous awards. Currently, looking to onboard an experienced, driven registered manager to lead and manage the children's home according to the ethos and approach of the organisation, ensuring that outcomes and high-quality care are delivered according to relevant regulatory bodies whilst putting their own stamp on the service. You will have access to a 24-7 psychological team to assist in the support of service users.

  • Actively develop knowledge and skill of staff to encourage internal ambition and promotion
  • Monitor the needs of individuals on a regular basis and, where necessary, liaise with other professionals to find suitable additional services or alternative accommodation when this is indicated.
  • Ensure that the services meet the requirements of CQC, the Local Authority and any other relevant bodies as required
  • Participate in discussions and meetings that relate to the future of the business as a whole
  • Assist in the administration of related financial issues.
  • Take part in the recruitment of prospective staff at all levels.

  • What you'll need to succeed
  • Social care NVQ Level 5 or Willing to work towards
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Children's residential Service - Registered Managers experience preferable
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to deliver and individualise Care/Support for people in order for them to develop.
  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Social Care Act 2008
  • Full UK/International driver's licence
  • Excellent level of verbal and written communication skills and numerical skills
  • Experience in dealing with Challenging behaviours.
  • Motivated to support all people with disabilities to maximise their potential.
