Job Description:
As an Electrical Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing project execution and delivery. Responsibilities include:
- Attend site initiation meetings and oversee all mechanical aspects to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
- Acquaint yourself with all project details and specifications.
- Organize and track technical submittals, ensuring thorough follow-up until approval.
- Supervise labour allocation and progress tracking.
- Establish effective communication channels with main contractors and the client-based site team.
- Supervise the coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.
- Ensure continuous availability of necessary materials for project completion.
- Develop and implement construction and commissioning schedules, ensuring adherence on-site.
- Oversee the handover process and maintain the Document Management System.
- Develop project-specific schedules to optimize workflow.
- Participate in meetings with subcontractors to ensure punctual project delivery.
- Attend general site meetings and address any raised concerns promptly.
- Relay innovative project-specific initiatives to the Contracts Manager (R&D).
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in a Electrical Site Manager or similar role.
- Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects (up to £5M)
- SMSTS / Black CSCS
- 18th edition wiring regulations
- Experience in supervising teams.
