Our client, an established organisation based in Macclesfield, is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join their team as a Service Team Leader. With a solid reputation built on trust and professionalism, our client is trusted by major organisations across the Northwest.
In this permanent role, you will take a leadership position within the service team, ensuring the smooth operation of all service activities. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise a small team, coordinating their day-to-day activities and ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Lead, motivate and develop a team, monitoring their performance and providing guidance and support when needed
- Deal with any escalated customer queries
- Plan and allocate resources effectively to ensure the timely completion of service projects
- Ensure all KPIs and targets are met and CRM is up to date
- Liaise with customers to gain a deep understanding of their requirements and provide appropriate solutions, building relationships with all clients
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions to enhance service delivery
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practises, continuously expanding your knowledge and skills
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar supervisory role, ideally gained within the engineering sector or with experience liaising with and scheduling engineering work
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent IT skills
- Good commercial awareness
- Full UK driving licence is essential
