Salary: 320 - 370 per day + Vehicle + Fuel
Project Duration: 12-14 Months

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to join our team on an exciting construction project in Swindon. Our client is leading a critical infrastructure development, focusing on earthworks, culverts, and civil engineering. This is a long-term project with an expected duration of 12 to 14 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage site activities related to earthworks, culverts, and general civil engineering tasks.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain smooth site operations.
• Conduct site surveys, setting out, and ensuring accurate levels using modern survey instruments.
• Monitor and report on progress, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
• Implement health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, particularly in earthworks and civil engineering.
• Strong knowledge of site engineering techniques and construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with modern survey equipment; having your own robotic instrument is preferred but not essential.
• A valid driving license is required.
