Accident Management Customer Services - Hybrid working

Hybrid working: This position will allow you to work 2 days at home and 3 days in the offices.

Location: Portsmouth

Salary: £23500 plus an opportunity to earn an additional 5%

Hours: Monday Friday, 37.5 hours
(you will need to be flexible between the hours of 8AM and 6PM)

Dynamite Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for our client based in Portsmouth that are looking to recruit an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join the business at this busy and demanding time. Our client provides a number of specialist service to customers and are growing considerably due to their success.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will work within the Accident Management department and you will be working to assist customers who have reported damage to their vehicles, whether that be from a major incident such as a Road Traffic Incident, or minor damage such as car park scrapes. Your job will be to ensure that their vehicles are repaired and back on the road as soon as possible, as well as potentially keeping the customer mobile whilst repairs ongoing whilst endeavoring to make a difficult situation as easy as possible for them.

Key duties will also include:
  • You will be speaking to customers on the phone, as well as dealing with repair centres, body shops, and mobile repairers.
  • You will also work with our third-party accident management supplier to provide a seamless service for the customer
  • You will assist the customer from the first notification of the incident through to completion and anything in between
  • You will take accurate information from the customer whilst processing the details onto the system
  • You will need to be able to make fast decisions on who is at fault and document this with accuracy
  • You will manage multiple inboxes whilst taking calls and need to be able to prioritise
  • You will be part of a team of people who look out for each other. It can get tough juggling a busy inbox with demanding customer calls, so it is important that you are good at building strong internal relationships too.
  • You will also need to be able to take down high volumes of information quickly and accurately and manage your time effectively to chase repairs and complete tasks between calls.
  • The quality of the calls you make are paramount to the business. You need to take ownership of a problem, using your initiative and seeing it through to the end.
The ideal Accident Management Customer Advisor will have/be:
  • Previous experience of managing customers on the telephone or in a call centre environment
  • Will have ideally worked in insurance, financial services, accident management, car dealerships, garages or anything similar although this isn t essential
  • Will have the ability to multitask
  • Will be well organised
  • Will have the ability to take down information quickly and with accuracy
  • Will be fully competent in using Microsoft Word and Exec
  • Will have excellent attention to detail
  • Will enjoy being busy
