My client is a purpose driven organisation operating in the UK and internationally, looking for an experienced legal leader to head up the Legal function. This is a great opportunity to step into a broad, hands-on role where you’ll guide legal strategy across the group, support major transactions, and work closely with senior leadership.
As Head of Legal, you’ll lead a small team and oversee a mix of legal areas - from M&A and commercial contracts to regulatory matters and governance. You’ll act as a key adviser to the business, helping to make fast paced strategic decisions while staying legally sound. Working closely with the CFO and wider SLT, you'll help to navigate the business through the next period of change
For the incoming Head of Legal, you'll have the opportunity to put your stamp on the function, implementing new strategies and improving ways of working.
Applications from existing Head of Legal level profiles are encouraged, as prior experience of acting as the representative for Legal both externally and in SLT meetings is essential. Additionally, it is essential the successful applicant will have experience of managing in-house M&A activity, particularly with a PE slant
